POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for providing staffing services to designated client groups for all site positions, except Site Director. The incumbent sources candidates using a variety of recruiting methods, helps manage relationships with outside sources to provide the company with alternative means of recruiting and will strategize with the hiring managers in determining the needs of the unit and a hiring strategy to meet the business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have minimum of 3-5 years high volume recruiting experience. Contact centre environment asset.
Ideal candidate will have 1- 2 years experience leading and managing a team of direct reports.
Proven ability to hire large volumes in a short period of time.
Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team to effectively and efficiently reach goals and objectives.
Must have proven track record in establishing and maintaining community relations.
Thorough knowledge and application of federal and provincial employment laws is required.
Must have superior customer service skills and relationship building skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills required.
Solid history of making decisions with minimal guidance in accordance with policies and established procedures.
Very strong computer skills are essential including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Windows.
Previous experience working with databases and applicant tracking system required.
Superior time management skills are essential.
Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and tasks and flexibility to change priorities as situations arise.
Previously demonstrated problem solving and data analysis skills.
Must have ability to work evenings and/or weekends as required.
Must be flexible to travel when required.
Post secondary education in Human Resources is an asset as is a CHRP designation.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience (3-5 years).
